The British School of Traditional Thai Massage and Thai Yoga are ‘two schools’. Thai Massage should not to be confused with Thai Yoga, which is a style of yoga.

The British School of Traditional Thai Massage was originally established in 1997. Later courses in Thai YOGA were introduced.

We are a member of T.H.A.I - Thai Healing Alliance International, and were the the UK coordinators 2005, 2006. Students, after passing Practitioner level certification, are welcome to become members of T.H.A.I. which will give them international recognition R.T.T. - Registered Thai Therapist, offering students international recognition and support.

We are affiliated to the International Thai Massage School in Chiangmai, Thailand. Our syllabus and technique is ‘traditional’ and has not been changed or adapted. The Practitioner Level, one year course is intensive and has not had ’sections’ deferred to another course, as with some other schools. It is the FULL curriculum.

Who learns Thai Massage?
Our students are from all backgrounds. From complete beginners to practitioners who wish to add to their existing skills. Students who practice yoga or martial arts are attracted and there are those who wish to learn so they can help family and friends, as practiced all over Thailand.

We teach the practitioner the priority of safety in application and to know your own body, so enabling you to honour others. The Yoga Show
