What is Thai Massage?

Certificate Course - Practitioner Level

This course consists of: 16 days course work - 128 hours + Logged home practice - 80 hours.
Anatomy & Physiology study - 50 hours. Total = 258 hours.

On completion, the student skills will include giving a full body 2-3 hour Thai Massage and a 1 hour Dynamic Massage.

Part One (3 days)

  • Supine Position (+ 12 hrs treatment practice)
  • Theory – Leg energy lines + Axial Skeleton Structure

Part Two (3 days)

  • Side Position + Hara (+ 12 hrs treatment practice)
  • Theory – Skeletal Muscular + Digestive Systems

Part Three (3 days)

  • Seated + Prone Positions (+ 12 hrs treatment practice)
  • Theory – Lymphatic + Respiratory Systems

Summer school - 3 days
Pre-exam practice - 2 days
Exam- 2 days

A work manual is provided and an A & P energy work information folder.

Advanced Diploma 1

This course consists of: Three x 3-day weekends (9 days). Plus logged practice - 50 hours and home study - 20 hours .  Total = 142 hours.

On completion, the advanced student will have a deeper understanding of the energy sen lines and be able to give a choice of specialized treatments. Students will learn:

Sen energy line treatments:

  • Sen Sumana, Sen Itta + Pingkhala, Sen Kalathari
  • Sen Sahatsarangsi + Thawari
  • Sen Lawusang + Ulanka
  • Nanthakrawat + Khitchanna

Advanced Diploma 2

Course consists of: Two x 3 day weekends (6 days). Plus logged practice 30 hours and home study 10 hours     Total =  88 hours

- Thai table massage using oils and steamed herb balls.

- Students will learn Inpaku style. This is a treatment given using only the feet.

- Deeper level chi nei tsiang hara’treatment. 

- Extra advanced applications
